In the "successful" professional world they say you have to spend 20% of your time on content creation and 80% on promotion and creating awareness.... well, when you are a pregnant, homesteading, homeschooling mother of 6 and all you have is 15%, basically all you can do is your best and hope for the best.

This year's lenten retreat is kicking off today with a surprisingly happy turnout for almost zero promotion save a simple announcement to everyone who was already on the list. I think the idea is to be grateful it is simple and sweet to work out all the kinks while the reach is still small and build infostructure and know how for the future. I am beyond grateful for all those of you who are supporting me and joining me in this journey. I pray that this retreat blesses you as much as it has me.

Looking so very much forward to the next 6 weeks!!!

Usually we talk about love and relationships (especially when it comes to #intimacywithgod) but this month I think we are going to focus on getting ready for one of the most beautiful and potentially fruitful seasons of your entire year. Namely, Lent. ⁣

NTM, Lent is only as fruitful as the Love with which you live it 😉 ⁣

Pre-Lent preparation traditionally starts February 5th (It even has a fancy name, #septuagesima) so that by the time Lent actually begins we are primed and ready for the best 40 days, spiritually speaking, of our entire year! And who doesn't want that?!?! ⁣

If you have ever wanted to experience a fruitful Lent but always felt like somehow it falls flat or you've never known how to do it well, consider taking this February to prepare for YOUR #bestlentever. ⁣

I think I'll be working on a little thought swapping this year... Crazy how hard this idea hit me on Saturday.

• Every obstacle is really and opportunity.
• Every curse is only there to mask a blessing.
• Every circumstance is a gift we have for a reason - whether it be for ourselves or someone else.
• Every moment is precious, especially the hard ones. I never want to waste another tear on self pity.

I think this week's post will be the one I've been processing for a while now but the advice I got over the weekend was the missing piece. The importance of Mental Health in the Spiritual Life.
